The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding its production facilities abroad and operating in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the People's Republic of China. Toto considered North America as a growth market for Washlet bidet seats and toilets, in contrast to its "base" markets of Japan and China.

Dhaniram Toto was documenting Toto words to ensure the future generations would be able to read them. However, many words were being replaced by foreign ones, like dui, which is Bengali for verandah.
Origins
The early history of Toto which began in 1917, was a reflection of Japan's economic expansion. In the beginning of its existence, the company made products to meet the demand for new, modern urban housing. It was the first tunnel kilns in the country to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered automation for production control, which allows for greater efficiency and a more consistent production.
The company began expanding overseas in the late 1980s to take advantage of new markets and sales opportunities. The company established the Cera Trading Company to import and distribute other manufacturers' products to expand its line of sanitary earthenwares and plumbing fittings. This strategy helped increase sales and expand the company's market share in the world.
In the 1990s, Toto had shifted its emphasis on research and development of household appliances that use water. It also improved its distribution system to better meet the needs of customers and to increase profits. The company embraced a just-in time method of managing supply chains and used the same method in its sales strategy. This led to a higher level of customer satisfaction.
Toto has been able to continue to innovate in the toilet technology. Its latest toilet, for instance, has a strong tornado flush that is more environmentally friendly than traditional toilets. The company uses recycled water for its manufacturing process and has a green buying policy. In addition to toilets, Toto manufactures faucets and bathtubs and hand dryers that are more efficient in terms of energy consumption than standard models.
The first Toto museum opened in 2015. 토지노 사이트 features exhibits on Toto’s seminal products, their evolution, the group companies (all of which are ceramics) and the history of plumbing and products such as bath units. In an additional gallery, you will find Toto products that are sold throughout. The museum houses bathrooms with a WASHLET and other toilet innovations.
Before beginning the formation of Toto members of the group performed session work for various musicians. Boz Scaggs' album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich, guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather and drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
You might expect a band with a name like Asia to be a prog band however, it's actually a fairly straight forward rock group. The band was initially a four-piece and released two albums: 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. The group has a diverse musical background, but their biggest success was in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a huge blockbuster, but it was not without its share of issues. Record companies put the band on the place with the directive "give us an album that is a success or we'll sack you" and the pressure was on to deliver. Toto was able to achieve this with the help from the smash hit "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is the result of their previous experiences. Before joining the group, members were session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their sonic signature has become the norm for '80s pop, and has influenced many contemporary artists.
The album begins hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to create great AOR songs that slowly sink into your head. The album also includes some slow, jazzier tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album ends with Great Expectations. This song is a mix of folk and the distorted AOR that could sound completely wrong but actually works extremely well.
After Toto IV The band's fortunes took a turn for the worse. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career, and the band had to go through several drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the band after drug charges. The band remained with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Toto released Isolation despite the turmoil. It was not as well-liked as IV. The band managed to release a chart-topping album, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. This album marked the end of the original Toto lineup and was the first to feature a new singer, Simon Phillips.

Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back, marked an reversion to the classic sextet style of the previous albums. It was a more powerful, consistent effort that had an edge that was more pronounced than Hydra. The more experimental sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the development of the group. Bobby Kimball's growing virtuosity was reflected by the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature. Keyboardist David Paich's work also was sharper, more intricate and less cloned on previous recordings.
After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live show in Amsterdam that was released as a two-CD set entitled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. The group released a new studio album just a few months after and then embarked on a world tour promote the album. During this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich & Lukather began looking through old tapes and demos to discover songs that had never been recorded prior to. The album was released in 2001 as a double album titled Then & Now. It was the band's first album that did not contain one single track titled "A". The album also contained a previously unreleased track called "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and vocalist Williams suffered from a bad case of laryngitis that limited his singing abilities. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming duties were replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the original members of Asia, met in England in the early part of 2006 to discuss the possibility that the group could be reformed. This lineup, minus Howe (who was a member of Yes at the time) was later referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also had an appearance by singer Michael McDonald and a backing vocalist named Mabvuto Carver.
